Responsibilities

• Lead, form, mentor, develop and coach the manufacturing team on meeting / exceeding performance expectations.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met and products meet strict quality standards.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation for the manufacturing department.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, and operators.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and other methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvements and product launches.
• Ability to lead, energize and influence change efforts at all levels of a complex organization.
• Supports the transfer of manufacturing products and the recruitment of new talent.
• Ensure the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.
