Job description

Responsible in all stages of projects from conceptualization, schematic design, detail design, documentation and construction.

Responsible for project implementation and their delivery within defined schedule, cost and quality standards.

Monitor work progress to ensure in accordance to approved program, budgeted cost and acceptable quality standards.

Familiar with the authorities’ approval procedures and work with consultants to secure all necessary planning and technical clearances.

Undertaking due diligence surveys of buildings and assisting in preliminary feasibility studies by providing on development budgeting, construction related cash flow and duration estimates.

Ensure the architect drawings, calculations and specifications are received on schedule and are confirmed as approved for construction approved.

Ensure project matters are coordinated and problems encountered in particular during onsite installation are addressed and rectified.

Maintain close working relationship with main contractor and other parties.

Submit progress report and follow up on all project progress and all correspondence, monitoring variation works and preparing documents for claims.

Ensure engineering and technical specification contract requirement are followed, maintained project programmes ensure compliance contract condition.

Establish working schedule and update schedule of project progress to ensure it is aligned with the most updated schedule.

Requirement

Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building Construction.

Strong leadership, tact, self-assured, independent and a team player.

Able to interact with local authorities, consultants, contractors and all level of staffs.

Minimum 8 years’ working experience in Property Development industry is required.

Required skills: method of statement, shop drawing, proficient in the local construction specifications, be good at management site, MS Office, AutoCad.

Good verbal and written communication skill in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Minimum 5 years working experience in building industry

Prior experience with developer or consulting firm is preferred
