A leading corporate group in Malaysia is seeking a strategic planning professional to support the development of growth plans and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience, including corporate finance roles. Responsibilities include collaborating with senior leadership, managing business plans, and preparing feasibility studies, all while championing new opportunities across the organization. Strong analytical, presentation, and business writing skills are essential for success in this position.
Support AGM Group Strategy and subsidiaries to develop growth plan, using fact-based analysis to identify growth and profit opportunities
Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to set priorities, goals and implement the strategic initiatives, prioritizing resources required in collaboration with Finance
Own the development of key strategic initiatives to give shape to new opportunities by applying rigorous fact-based logic, analytics and business smarts to identify key value drivers and lay the groundwork for success not limited to transformation initiatives
Champion new opportunities across the organization, working collaboratively to identify critical business needs and remove key roadblocks
Develop corporate strategy roadmap, manage and coordinate business plan and budget process for the Group
Coordinate and oversee the development and recommendation of NAZA's strategic and long-term goals based on analysis and studies of business conditions
Establishment of key objectives and mission realization, considering the organisation's strengths, weaknesses, capacity and products
Preparation of feasibility study/investment memo (performing research, valuation models and strategic assessment and pricing of targets including potential deal synergies)
Monitors and evaluates results of existing plans to ensure growth and profitability and adjusts as necessary
Assess the company's operational and strategic performance, drafting of Board and Committee papers
To undertake any ad-hoc and special project assigned by the AGM Group Strategy.
