Job summary

A reputed financial firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Investor Relations Senior Manager to develop and execute the investor relations strategy. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, an MBA or professional qualifications, and at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a public listed company. Job description

The Investor Relations Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of the company’s investor relations strategy to strengthen shareholder value and foster strong, ongoing relationships with investors, analysts, media, and other key stakeholders. The role oversees all investor communications and disclosures, manages the integrated reporting process, and drives stakeholder engagement across multiple channels, including digital platforms.

Investor Relations Strategy & Stakeholder Management

• Formulate and execute the overall investor relations (IR) strategy.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with analysts, investors, media, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee analyst coverage and handle investor-related enquiries.

Communication & Reporting

• Develop and refresh investor communication materials, including the corporate presentation deck.
• Coordinate and prepare content for quarterly earnings announcements, media releases, and analyst briefings.
• Lead the preparation of the Integrated Report and support the development of credit rating and business plan documentation.

IR Programme Coordination

Monthly

• Prepare monthly investor relations reports.
• Update and maintain corporate presentation materials.

Quarterly

• Develop quarterly earnings presentations and market outlook materials.
• Draft and distribute media releases.
• Coordinate quarterly results briefings and conduct post-results analysis.
• Perform registrar of depositors’ analysis.

Annually

• Lead the preparation and publication of the Integrated Report.
• Support AGM preparation and execution.
• Assist with business planning and credit rating submissions.

Digital & Media Engagement

• Manage and maintain the investor relations section of the corporate website.
• Oversee IR-related social media strategy and content.
• Draft media communications and coordinate public-facing announcements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• MBA or relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA would be an added advantage.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, investment banking, or capital markets.
• Prior experience within a public listed company and familiarity with Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission regulatory requirements will be highly advantageous.
