We are seeking a highly experienced and client-focused professional to take on the role of Senior Manager, Family Office Advisory. This individual will be responsible for leading and coordinating the setup of Single-Family Offices (SFOs) for our high-net-worth clients under the Securities Commission Malaysia’s SFO scheme.
Acting as the central liaison between clients, our internal sales team, and a network of professional advisors including trust companies, legal and tax consultants, accountants, and real estate specialists - the successful candidate will ensure a seamless and trusted advisory experience. This is a senior position requiring deep expertise in wealth structuring, trust and legacy planning, and HNWI relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager and strategic advisor for clients establishing a Single-Family Office (SFO).
- Lead and coordinate the entire SFO setup process, aligning client objectives with suitable structures under the SC Malaysia framework.
- Collaborate with external professionals (trustees, lawyers, tax advisors, accountants, real estate planners) to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
- Act as the key contact point for internal sales teams and ensure they are supported on all SFO-related discussions and initiatives.
- Guide and manage the preparation and submission of necessary documents, licenses, and regulatory filings.
- Develop and maintain in-house best practices, knowledge resources, and training materials to support continuous learning and excellence in SFO advisory.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and responsiveness in all client engagements.
- Undertake any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Accounting, Estate Planning, or related disciplines. A Master’s degree or professional certifications are highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in wealth structuring, trust and fiduciary services, estate planning, private banking or HNWI client advisory.
- Strong understanding of trust structures, succession and legacy planning, tax optimization, and legal frameworks relevant to family offices.
- Familiarity with the Securities Commission Malaysia’s SFO guidelines and other regulatory/tax considerations in structuring a family office.
- Proven track record of managing sophisticated HNWI relationships and working across multi-disciplinary advisory teams.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
- High integrity and discretion, with a strong sense of ownership and client service mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is an added advantage.

1. Manage reporting such as fund reports, fund fact sheet:
- Coordinate the compilation of Fund reports (annual, interim and quarter) with internal and external stakeholders, submission to regulator and dissemination to investors and any other related parties.
- Ensure compliance in Fund reports.
- Manage regular and customised reports for distributor/business partners.
- Manage monthly Fund factsheet.
2. Work on new product development and management of existing funds:
- Pitching of new product ideas.
- Preparation of product term sheet/Product Detail Paper, investment strategy & investment for offering documents.
- Create pitching slides for fund positioning on a regular and consistent basis.
- To provide training of funds and propositions to sales teams on a regular basis.
- To assist in marketing and pitching to partners and distributors and be involved in sales activities where necessary.
- Work with fund managers and the investment team on themes, ideas, strategies employed for respective funds.
3. On-going marketing, product and operational support
- Managing and coordinating the fund reports with ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Preparation of monthly fund update slides.
- Providing support and answers to sales queries on product features and technical matters.
- Project management in resolving ad-hoc issues concerning existing funds.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or professional qualification in Business/Economic/Finance/Accounting.
- 2 or more years of experience in the wealth and asset management industry is an added advantage.
- Possess good communication and presentation skills.
