A leading cybersecurity firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage multiple cybersecurity system integration projects. This role involves overseeing project execution, acting as a primary escalation point, and ensuring adherence to security best practices. The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity with a strong background in system integration and a proven track record in leadership roles, supported by relevant certifications. Lead and manage multiple cybersecurity system integration projects across enterprise and government clients. Oversee project planning, resourcing, execution, risk management, and delivery timelines. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical and delivery issues.
Lead the design of end-to-end cybersecurity solutions including integration of:
Ensure architectural designs align with security best practices, compliance requirements, and client architecture standards. Review and approve technical designs, implementation approaches, and integration frameworks.
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level, IT, and security stakeholders. Lead requirement gathering, solution presentations, and design workshops. Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Support pre-sales activities including solutioning, proposal writing, and technical presentations.
Build, mentor, and lead a team of system integration engineers, architects, and project managers. Provide technical guidance, performance management, and career development. Ensure team capability is aligned with emerging cybersecurity technologies and integration needs. Establish and enforce delivery governance, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes. Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodology, tools, and frameworks. Standardise integration approaches, templates, and best practices. Identify opportunities to automate, optimise, and enhance system integration processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Relevant certifications are highly preferred, such as:
10–15+ years of experience in IT / Cybersecurity, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong experience in system integration, security implementation, and large-scale enterprise projects. Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects and complex client environments.
