Job description

Responsibilities

Supervise daily M&E works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building services;

Coordinate M&E subcontractors and ensure all installations follow drawings, codes, and specifications;

Conduct routine site inspections, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification;

Prepare and update daily site records including logs, progress reports, and photo documentation;

Verify delivered M&E materials for correct specifications and quantities;

Assist in preparing method statements, inspection checklists, and testing documents;

Coordinate with Project Manager, Consultants, Main Contractor, and other trades to resolve site issues;

Monitor site safety, highlight unsafe practices, and report accidents or near-miss incidents;

Assist in testing and commissioning of M&E systems (electrical, fire systems, ACMV, plumbing/sanitary) before handover.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant MEP experience for building construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of M&E standards and local authority requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
