Qualifications

  • Forklift license is advantageous.

About the job Senior Logistics Specialist

Company Background:

We are representing our client,leader in supply chain and logistics solutions. they specializes in warehouse operations, distribution, and innovative supply chain services, helping businesses improve efficiency and performance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and guidance to workers to always ensure safety and best practice.
  • Receiving, handling, uncrating/unboxing large product in preparation for assembly.
  • Assembly of customers finished product at customer premises on time to contractual lead times and schedule.
  • Accurate Placement of product using specialist measuring equipment.
  • Assembly and fitment of intricate sub-assemblies.
  • Fitment and routing of cables.
  • Testing and verification of finished product
  • Packing, handling, dispatch of return materials and packaging.
  • Use of IT applications to plan and execute work and update completion of tasks.
  • Communication of schedule and related tasks to colleagues and customers up and down stream to ensure seamless process flow.
  • Provide training and coaching to new and less experienced colleagues and temp workers.

Job Requirements:

  • At least minimum 5-years of relevant work experience in warehousing and logistics.
  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive results effectively.
  • Possess knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS) & SAP.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Forklift license would be an advantage.
