Job Overview

To act as legal subject matter expert, offering guidance interpreting legal material and ensuring Lawnet's content is aligned with the current laws.

Lead editorial operations, legal content verification, and team management.

Oversee timely updates and improvements in Lawnet's legal database.

Continuously provide strategic input for Lawnet portal from early development and implementation.

Restructure the editorial team to ensure an efficient workflow and workload distribution.

Review, verify, edit, and publish legal content to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Conduct legal research, analyze legislative amendments, and compile case law updates to keep Lawnet comprehensive and reliable.

Ensure timely incorporation of statutory amendments, subsidiary legislation and government gazettes.

Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a LLB (Hons) from a reputable university.
  • At least 5 years in legal editing. Experience in developing unique content for articles or social media is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and research methods.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
