We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Manager to lead the Group’s technology, innovation, and digitalization agenda across Malaysia and other regional entities under the Group Berhad. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership experience in IT management within the logistics, supply chain and a proven track record in driving digital transformation and data-driven initiatives.
This role requires a visionary leader capable of aligning technology strategies with business objectives, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry and sustainability standards.
Develop and execute the Group’s IT and Digital Transformation roadmap in alignment with business objectives and growth strategies.
Drive implementation of Industry and digitalisation initiatives, including data analytics, AI, and IoT integration across logistics operations.
Lead continuous improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality across all regions.
Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to optimize freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
Oversee all regional IT operations including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and cloud solutions.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and data integrity across all Group entities.
Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective deployment of technology resources.
Establish IT governance, policies, and best practices across regions.
Lead the development and implementation of data analytics frameworks to drive data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with business units to design AI-based process optimization tools that improve forecasting, route planning, and operational performance.
Develop real-time dashboards and reporting systems for business and operational insights.
Ensure all digitalisation and IT initiatives comply with regulatory, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Implement and monitor cybersecurity and data privacy frameworks in compliance with PDPA, GDPR, and other relevant laws.
Promote sustainability through energy-efficient technologies, smart logistics solutions, and waste reduction initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop IT and transformation teams across regional operations to achieve excellence and innovation.
Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of technology into business processes.
Manage vendor relationships and strategic partnerships to support Group IT and digitalisation objectives.
Establish and track key IT and transformation KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Provide regular updates and strategic reports to senior management on technology performance, project progress, and innovation opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, digital transformation, or operations technology, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within logistics or supply chain.
Proven track record in implementing Industry technologies such as ERP, automation, and data analytics.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technology transformation initiatives.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
