Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at True Design Octoplus Sdn Bhd. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and aesthetics of our clients' spaces, ensuring they reflect their brand, vision, and target audience. This full-time position is based in our Kota Damansara, Selangor office.

What you\'ll be doing

• Lead concept development, space planning, and project design direction
• Prepare detailed drawings, material specifications, and presentation materials
• Oversee project progress and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure design intention is delivered with quality and consistency
• Guide junior designers and collaborate closely with the in-house production team

What we\'re looking for

• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in a similar role or within the commercial/corporate interior design sector
• Excellent design skills, with a strong understanding of space planning, colour theory, and materials
• Proficiency in using design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present design concepts effectively
