Approximately 7–10 years of experience in corporate interiors or workplace fit-out projects.

Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, design thinking, and technical execution.

Proficient in AutoCAD, 3Dsmax, SketchUp, Canva, Microsoft office, Photoshop, Illustrator and others if any.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Mandarin speaker is advantage.

Highly organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Own transport and willingness to travel locally for project requirements.

Willing to travel locally; own transport preferred.

Responsibility

This role will take ownership of workplace Interior Projects from early concept through to on-site completion. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and subcontractor to deliver high-quality, functional, and inspiring work environments, while guiding junior designers and upholding strong design conceptual for the projects.

Design Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead design development across multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers to support their professional growth.
• Promote a collaborative studio culture focused on accountability, initiative, and design quality.

Conceptual & Design Development

• Develop clear design concepts, narratives, and visual storytelling aligned with client objectives.
• Translate ideas into well-considered space planning, material selections, lighting concepts, and finishes.
• Balance creative intent with practical considerations such as budget and constructability.
• Confidently present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, articulating ideas clearly and professionally.
• Stay current with workplace trends, sustainability practices, and emerging materials or technologies.

Technical Design & Execution

• Prepare and oversee the production of detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D models using AutoCAD, 3Dsmax and SketchUp.
• Ensure design documentation is accurate, coordinated, and aligned with construction requirements.
• Apply strong technical knowledge of interior construction methods and detailing.
• Resolve design and site-related issues efficiently during the construction phase.

Project Coordination & Delivery

• Work closely with project managers, quantity surveyor, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet agreed timelines.
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure design intent is properly executed.
• Review design outputs to maintain consistency, quality, and buildability.
• Provide design support during site implementation and respond proactively to challenges on-site.
