The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to support our Australian product development team from our newly developing KL hub.

You will help make Vuly Play product accessories, new designs, new concepts and work with our international teams to develop concepts that are designed for manufacturing based on CEO direction and customer feedback.

You will report to the Head of Product (for technical direction) and work day-to-day with the KL VP.

What you will do

Produce concepts for new products and accessories or help develop and refine processes for these concepts at the direction of HQ.

You will help sketch, render and prepare product concepts for testing with real customers and for management feedback.

Co‑ordinate with your team members to help solve steps with other teams working on the same product range to ensure proper delivery of instructions, cartons, safety and quality.

Non‑negotiables (must haves)

At least 5 years of experience in industrial design.

MUST have good design sensibilities and artistic skill.

Strong CAD and drawing skills, with a portfolio that shows clear, accurate product communication.

Experience producing manuals, assembly instructions, or similar product documentation.

Ability to lead designers and manage multi‑stage documentation workflows with multiple stakeholders.

Detail‑driven, hands‑on, and comfortable working with physical products and tools.

Office based in Kuala Lumpur, Monday to Friday.

Great if you also have

Experience with consumer products that require at‑home assembly.
