A hospitality management firm seeks a Senior Income Auditor Executive in Kedah to monitor and reconcile daily revenue and prepare income audit reports. The ideal candidate possesses a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are essential, as interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients are expected. Experience in hotel management is preferred. This position offers a dynamic environment where accuracy and compliance are paramount.
Monitor and reconcile daily hotel revenue, including rooms, food & beverage, and other outlets
Verify postings from PMS, POS, and other systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
Conduct daily revenue reconciliation between system reports and supporting documents
Perform spot checks on cash, credit card merchant, and city ledger transactions
Prepare daily income audit reports and summaries for management
Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls
Support month-end closing activities related to revenue
Assist in external and internal audit and tax exercises when required
Job Requirements
Possess a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications.
Experience in Accounting (exposure to hotel management will be an added advantage).
Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
Committed, analytical, meticulous, accountable and reliable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, efficient time management skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malay & Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Willing to be based in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
