A leading agricultural firm in Malaysia is seeking an HR generalist with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field. The role requires 4–6 years of experience and knowledge of labour laws. Responsibilities include overseeing HR documentation, handling employee relations, managing payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This position offers a dynamic environment to contribute to employee development and engagement.
Helping HQ for recruitment such as posting, interviews and onboarding staff.
Helping HQ for updating the manpower planning and work with department heads to fulfil staffing needs.
Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Oversee HR documentation including employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfers, promotions, and termination letters.
Handle employee relations issues including counselling, grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
Support employee engagement programs and activities to strengthen morale and workplace culture.
Maintain strong communication channels between employees and management.
Monitor and check weekly on employee attendance, overtime and leave recorded by the attendance system and/or HR System.
Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns from employees.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Maintain filling system and correct data into payroll system and related records.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.
Coordinate and support the performance appraisal process.
Advise managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs) and coaching methods.
Manage employee benefits programs including insurance, allowances, claims, and medical checkups.
Manage training registrations, attendance, evaluation, and reporting.
Maintaining comprehensive records for all training conducted and scheduling regular refresher training.
Ensure HR practices comply with labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Attending audit.
