Tai Chong Marine Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Human Resource Officer to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy and initiatives of our growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the full employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations
• Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and align with the company's objectives
• Driving talent management initiatives, including succession planning, training and development, and employee engagement
• Acting as a strategic business partner, collaborating with department heads to understand their HR needs and provide tailored solutions
• Maintaining and updating the company's HR information system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
• Preparing HR-related reports and analytics to support informed decision-making
• Assisting with organisational development projects, such as change management and cultural transformation

What we\'re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry
• Proven track record in successfully implementing HR initiatives and programmes
• Strong understanding of Malaysian employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
• Proficient in using HR information systems and data analytics tools
• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certification in HRDF, CIPD, or other relevant HR professional qualifications is an advantage
