Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Executive to join our growing team at ELEGANZ LIFESTYLE SDN BHD' in Jelutong, Penang. As the Senior HR Executive, you will play a crucial role in shaping the employee experience and driving the strategic direction of our human resources function. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Responsibility
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Handle all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and employee relations. Coordinate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and facilitate workforce planning.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Address employee concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, providing guidance and conflict resolution when necessary. Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and team-building activities. Manage the employee life cycle, from attracting and hiring top talent to supporting their career growth and development.
  • HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with high accuracy. Prepare HR-related documents. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Process payroll inputs and coordinate with the finance department. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and promote a positive, productive work environment. Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive organisational effectiveness. Serve as a strategic business partner, providing HR expertise and guidance to support the company's overall objectives. Identify training needs within the organization. Track employee training participation and effectiveness.

  • Proficient in computer skills, HR information systems and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, HR functions and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, tact, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.>
