Job summary

A property development company in Malaysia seeks an experienced professional for group consolidation and technical accounting role. The position requires a degree in Accounting and professional qualifications, along with 8-10 years of experience. Responsibilities include preparing consolidated financial results, conducting impairment assessments, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards. The role offers a contract of 6 months with the possibility of extension and covers medical expenses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, or audit.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and consolidation principles.
  • Experience with taxation compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial results for management reporting.
  • Conduct annual impairment assessments in accordance with MFRS.
  • Review and supervise entity accounts preparation for timely financial statements.
  • Prepare and review tax estimates and computations for Group entities.
  • Support initiatives to improve reporting quality and accuracy.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA)
