We are searching for an experienced senior frontend software engineer who is passionate about delivering the best possible user experience within our website and web application. Key Responsibilities

• Create dynamic, responsive, and engaging interfaces using React, focusing on performance and usability.
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable front‑end components and libraries for long‑term use across multiple projects.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high‑quality code.
• Design and implement testable, efficient code using the best software development practices, and integrate with third‑party systems.
• Work with the team (backend, business analyst, and product owner) to gain a good understanding and implement the clients’ requirements.
• Debugging and fixing functional, logical, and UI/UX‑related bugs.
• Create & maintain software documentation.
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead a development team.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead knowledge‑sharing sessions to encourage continuous learning and team development.
• Manage project requirements and ensure they are met in a timely manner.
• Effectively communicate project progress and requirements with stakeholders.
• Handle the end‑to‑end development cycle, including project setup, deployment, and post‑deployment support.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years hands‑on experience in React and Typescript, with a strong focus on modern web development.
• Strong communication skills to effectively support and collaborate with the team.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and modern CSS techniques.
• Experience writing unit and component tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar.
• Experience in JavaScript build tools like webpack or vite.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Awareness of CDNs, shell scripting, and common CLI tools.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Must be based in or willing to move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Optional but Nice to Have

• Familiarity with MUI v5.
• Familiarity with nx or other monorepo management tools.
• Knowledge of Django Rest Framework and Django templates.
• Experience with React migration and a deep understanding of React concepts.
