Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform and support flow assurance analyses and studies for offshore and deepwater projects.
• Address flow assurance challenges including hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, corrosion, erosion, and slugging.
• Provide flow assurance input during concept selection, FEED, detailed design, and execution phases.
• Support specialist studies related to transient operations, start-up, shutdown, and upset conditions.
• Assist in the development and review of operating philosophies, procedures, and flow assurance management plans.
• Provide technical support to operations for troubleshooting and production optimization.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Review technical deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior engineers.

Requirement

• Possess at least a recognized Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) for local candidates.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant flow assurance experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years of experience relevant to the work scope.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in deepwater projects or specialist flow assurance studies.
• Strong understanding of offshore and deepwater production systems.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
