Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their team!

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance? This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee company accounts, drive financial performance through variance analysis, and ensure compliance with financial standards. What you'll be doing?

Oversee company accounts: Lead the financial reporting process and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Perform variance analysis: Identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic financial decisions.

Prepare internal and external reports: Communicate financial performance and compliance status to the Board and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance and implement controls: Uphold corporate policies and financial standards, and develop a robust budgeting control system.

Monitor cashflow and receivables/payables: Plan and oversee the company's financial health and liquidity.

Liaise with external auditors: Ensure all audit matters are addressed and resolved efficiently.

Who are they looking for?

Group Accounting Expertise: Minimum 5 years related working experience with strong expertise on group accounting and consolidation.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar in accounting standards, MFRSs and conversant in Malaysian Companies Act and Income Tax Act to ensure compliance.

Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay for effective communication with diverse stakeholders and head office.

Educational & Professional Qualifications: At least Degree in Accounting, professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CIMA or ACCA will be an advantage.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Proactive Attitude: Dynamic approach to challenges and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Professional Membership: Member of MIA is preferred for enhanced professional standing.

Audit Experience: With relevant audit experience in public listed companies and IPO will have an added advantage.
