Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Proficiency in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with SQL Server for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
• Coordinate and support the annual audit process, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans to support the company's overall business objectives.
