Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and dynamic Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team. This role is central to managing our local financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financing functions, from daily bookkeeping to cost management and tax compliance, serving as a crucial link between local operations and headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage local bank accounts, process daily cash transactions, and prepare regular cash flow reports.

Handle full-cycle accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, expense claims, and bank reconciliations.

Ensure all financial entries are accurately recorded in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).

Support local production activities by accurately tracking and allocating costs.

Oversee fixed asset registers and supervise periodic inventory counts.

Perform regular reconciliations with suppliers and customers.

Assist in the preparation and timely submission of tax computations and returns.

Contribute to the development and improvement of local finance processes and internal controls.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

More than 3 years of hands-on experience in a finance or accounting role. Candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry are highly preferred.

Solid understanding of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws.

Proficient in both English and Malay. The ability to communicate in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong team player.
