Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Finance Executive. Responsibilities include managing financial reports, supervising transactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.   • Assist in reviewing and implementing financial policies.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statements accurately.
  • Provide analytical support for financial reporting.
  • Review subordinate transactions for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Liaise with external auditors and banks.
  • Assist with special assignments or ad-hoc duties.

Job description

Assist in review and implement financial policies

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statements, AR & AP ageing reports and other financial reports

Provide analytical support in the areas of reporting actual performance, reporting forecast, developing annual plans

Reviewing all the transactions done by subordinates and ensure subordinates have keyed into system correctly

Ensure all the Statutory Deadlines are met to avoid any late payment or submission penalties

To liaise with both external and internal auditor, lawyer, banker, and etc

To assist on special assignment or any ad-hoc duties

Requirement

Degree in Finance and Accounting.

Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting software

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

Good team player, interaction skills, proactive and communication skills

Mandarin speaking candidate is preferred to liaise with Mandarin speaking Clients
