Position Overview

The Senior Finance cum Accounts role is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health by managing financial planning, cash flow, budgeting, and financial analysis, while ensuring accurate accounting records and statutory compliance. This role works closely with management to support business decisions and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Control

• Manage overall financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Monitor and control cash flow, working capital, and expenses
• Prepare financial analysis and reports for management decision-making
• Track profitability by outlet / service / project and highlight cost risks
• Support pricing, cost optimisation, and investment decisions
• Establish and improve financial controls, SOPs, and internal processes

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations)
• Review monthly management accounts and financial statements
• Ensure timely tax submissions and statutory compliance
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and external consultants
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness

Operations & Management Support

• Work closely with operations and management on financial performance
• Monitor staff cost, commission, payroll, and operating expenses
• Support business expansion, budgeting for new outlets or initiatives
• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of finance and accounting experience
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management skills
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and commercially minded
• Able to work independently and communicate clearly with management
