We are seeking a Senior Finance & Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. You will be responsible for supporting the Finance & Accounts team in preparing accurate financial reports, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax requirements. The role plays a crucial part in maintaining sound financial control and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the Group.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare monthly management reports, including reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain the company’s full set of accounts in a timely and organized manner.
- Support statutory audits by preparing audit schedules and liaising with auditors to ensure smooth completion within deadlines.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Prepare monthly cash flow projections and monitor fund positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and project needs.
- Manage payments, fund transfers, and investment activities in line with company policies.
- Liaise with banks on financing-related matters, including preparation of loan drawdown letters, documentation, and follow-up on disbursements.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted performance and provide insights to management.
- Support financial analysis for projects, investment feasibility, and business decisions.

Taxation & Compliance
- Liaise with tax agents on annual income tax estimates, tax revisions, and tax computations.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and compliance with Malaysian tax and accounting regulations.

Ad-Hoc Support
- Undertake special finance and accounts assignments as required by Management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support financial reporting and decision-making needs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience; exposure to the property development industry is an added advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Willing to put in extra effort during peak periods (e.g., audits, budgeting).
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment.
