About the job

• Oversee all day-to-day mall operations, ensuring seamless coordination of M&E, building, and landscape services.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to achieve optimal facility performance and safety.
• Monitor service providers (cleaning, security, waste management, etc.) for quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
• Review maintenance reports and documentation for compliance and performance standards.
• Implement operational improvements and coordinate emergency responses to minimize facility downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with all statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements (TNB, DOSH, JKKP, etc.).
• Direct inspections, audits, and renewals for fire safety, lifts, and electrical system certifications.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with legal and environmental standards.
• Foster a proactive safety culture and implement effective risk mitigation measures.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for all safety or compliance issues.

Skills and experience required

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in retail mall/commercial property management.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior management capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, building maintenance, and local regulations (TNB, DOSH, JKKP, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage vendors for cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations, building standards, and preventive maintenance.
