Job summary

A retail company based in Shah Alam seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to manage stock allocations and optimize inventory levels. The role requires a degree in Supply Chain or related fields along with at least 3 years of experience. Candidates should be adept in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analytics tools like Power BI. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with merchandising, and logistics teams to align supply with demand. Allocate stock to stores based on accurate demand forecasts, seasonality trends, and promotional activities. Ensure allocation decisions support optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Update and maintain accurate data in ERP/inventory systems to ensure auto-replenishment logic runs effectively. Regularly validate system parameters to prevent errors in replenishment.
  • Monitor stores maintain healthy stock levels to meet customer demand without overstocking. Track and manage On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
  • Continuously monitor store auto-replenishment results and exception reports (OOS risk, overstock risk, abnormal orders).
  • Identify top risk stores/items and drive follow-up actions to improve availability and reduce expiry losses.
  • Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and SOP development to strengthen end-to-end replenishment control.
Role Requirements
  • Degree holder in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain or related disciplines.
  • Experience with chain store operations, preferably in fresh / perishable goods.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI); forecasting knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Able to manage seasonal and promotional demand fluctuations.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively with merchandising, logistics, and store operations teams.
  • Possess own transport and willing to work office‑based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
