ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Executive, Strategic Sourcing (Procurement) supports strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned categories, with a focus on medical consumables. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost-effective, compliant, and reliable sourcing outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Sourcing
  • Execute end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes for assigned categories.
  • Support development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, supplier profiling, and spend analysis to identify cost‑saving and consolidation opportunities.
  • Prepare technical and commercial evaluations of supplier proposals.
Contract & Commercial Support
  • Support pricing, payment term, and delivery negotiations under guidance of the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contract documentation in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
  • Maintain contract records, monitor renewals, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure sourcing activities meet operational needs.
  • Facilitate effective communication between end‑users and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance on procurement procedures and policy compliance.
Supplier Relationship Management
  • Source and onboard capable local and international suppliers for medical consumables.
  • Track supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards; support performance review meetings.
  • Monitor supplier risks and elevate critical issues appropriately.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain accurate procurement and costing records to support reporting and audits.
  • Prepare routine reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, governance standards, and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within sourcing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience in medical consumables or healthcare industry is an advantage.
