A leading organization in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive/Specialist for Talent Management. The successful candidate will coordinate learning programs, assist with HRIS administration, and support employee engagement initiatives. With a bachelor's degree in HR or related fields and 4–5 years of relevant experience, you will play a vital role in furthering talent development and engagement across the organization. Proficient communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Assist in the coordination, rollout, and administration of learning and development programmes aligned with the company’s competency framework and talent priorities. • Support the development and maintenance of competency profiles, role-based capability requirements, and learning pathways.
• Coordinate learning logistics including training schedules, participant nominations, attendance tracking, and post-training documentation.
• Liaise with internal trainers and external training providers to ensure programme delivery quality and timeliness.
• Prepare and submit HRDC claims and maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Provide operational support for in-house, virtual, and external training programmes, including leadership and functional skills development.
• Assist in the administration and continuous enhancement of the HR Information System (HRIS) related to talent, learning, and performance modules.
• Compile, track, and analyse HR and learning data to support reporting on training participation, competency development, and talent KPIs.
• Prepare basic dashboards and reports on workforce trends, learning effectiveness, and programme outcomes.
• Support documentation, standardisation, and digitisation of selected HR and talent management processes.
• Support the administrative and coordination aspects of succession planning and talent review processes, including maintaining role profiles, talent matrices, and candidate trackers.
• Assist in organising leadership assessments, talent discussions, and development planning sessions.
• Track and monitor progress of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and follow up with relevant stakeholders on completion and outcomes.
• Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition activities, and wellness-related programmes.
• Support onboarding activities such as coordination of orientation sessions, preparation of materials, and collection of feedback from new hires.
• Track participation, feedback, and basic effectiveness metrics for engagement and onboarding programmes.
• Assist in the administration of the performance management cycle, including communications, reminders, system updates, and documentation.
• Support tracking of performance development plans and consolidation of feedback for reporting and follow-up.
• Help update and maintain performance management templates, guidelines, and reference materials.
• Provide support in recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination.
• Be open to occasional travel outside the Klang Valley to support HR or talent-related initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant HR experience, with hands-on exposure to learning & development, talent management, competency frameworks, or performance management.
• Experience supporting large organisations (1,000+ employees) and/or multi-location operations is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of L&D processes, training coordination, HRDC requirements, and talent development practices.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; exposure to HRIS platforms and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is an added advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is a plus due to regional coordination needs.
• Well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, strong follow‑through, and willingness to learn and grow in HR and L&D.
