Job Summary

The Senior Executive in the Ranking and Analytics Department plays a pivotal role in strengthening the institution’s position in both global and national rankings. This role requires expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of ranking methodologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Senior Executive will ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data submissions for rankings and accreditations, while driving initiatives that enhance the institution’s competitive standing.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Hygiene: Clean, validate, and normalize large datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Spreadsheet Mastery: Apply advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
• Statistical Analysis: Interpret trends and patterns using statistical principles such as mean, median, variance, and correlation.
• Problem Solving: Detect anomalies, identify trends, and translate raw data into actionable insights.
• Data Visualization: Develop impactful dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker Studio.
• Reporting: Communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders through written reports and presentations.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure meticulous data verification and reporting to uphold integrity in all deliverables.

Advantageous Skills (Preferred but not required)

• Data Extraction: Ability to query databases using SQL and leverage tools such as surveys, APIs, or web scraping.
