A leading ferroalloys producer in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Executive to develop and maintain the Quality Management System to meet ISO standards. Responsibilities include managing QA documentation, organizing training for staff, and supporting audits. To develop quality management system to a standard level that can meet ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards regulatory requirement.
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
Manage documentation related to Quality Assurance (QA) programs including ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
Update and maintain all quality system-related documents and records, ensuring all quality records are properly filed and readily accessible for audits or inspections.
Support form operations in quality-related training for staff and workers (ISO practices, SOPs).
Responsible for organizing in-house training to upgrade job knowledge and skill of competent employees which is in line with the ISO standards and requirements.
Managing and maintaining documents compliance with licensing related to Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB).
Prepare monthly Quality Assurance (QA) reports and updates for management review.
Responsible for the compilation of monthly departmental performance reports and shareholder presentation materials related to QHSSE department.
Assisting in preparation of ESH Report and CHG (Green House Gases) calculation and compilation.
Lead or support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, certification bodies, customer audits).
To comply with company Safety Policy and Procedures, 5S practices and.
To undertake any other job assigned by immediate superior or Management from time to time.

Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. was established on 2nd December 2010 as the first large‑scale manganese alloys and ferrosilicon plant in Malaysia. Formerly known as AML Manganese (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the company was established by global ferroalloy production leaders to produce and supply manganese alloy products for the steel industry worldwide. An investment costing USD300 million, the Pertama smelting plant occupies an area of 180 hectares in the Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu, Sarawak as the 1st manganese alloys and ferrosilicon smelting plant in Malaysia. Construction of the plant started in Q2‑2012 and first tapping of the Ferrosilicon furnace was successfully carried out in Q2 2016 with the next tapping for the Silicon Manganese furnace scheduled in Q3 2016. The remaining furnaces are to follow at scheduled intervals within the year with full commercial operation in Q2‑2017.
