A local coffee company in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a procurement professional to manage local sourcing and procurement activities. The role involves ensuring compliance with procedures, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating logistics operations. Candidates should have experience in supply chain processes and be adept at building supplier relationships. This position is crucial for maintaining a continuous supply of goods and services within the company.
Responsible & support for the procurement’s local purchase/sourcing.
Ensuring the procurement activities are executed as per the company’s procurement procedure.
Assists and supportthe manager in the roll out of central procurement process with other departments.
Work with other departments to coordinate activities such as shipping, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and expediting goods.
Negotiating with local supplieron the price, delivery, payment termand services.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of goods and services.
Plan and implement supply chain processes that include Inbounding, Purchase Order, Transfer Note.
Perform other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management.
Identifies supply and supplier issues. Analyses information to assess root cause, improvement and associated risk. Recommends and implements solutions.
