Assist the Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring business process improvement in ensuring compliance, while also improving effectiveness and efficiency in support of business goals. Ensuring policies and procedures are maintained and updated.

Provide objective assessment and ensuring processes within the MEASAT Global Group are refined in all aspects of the business i.e., strive to make business processes simple, efficient, effective and lower the cost where applicable.

Representative Activities

• Identify, plan and implement key initiatives or projects processes to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve cycle time resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction
• Manages process or project and analyzes problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions
• Manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources, functions with certain autonomy. Ability to influence others regarding strategy, policies, practices and procedures improvement
• Work with Manager and Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Management to identify and mitigate key operational risks to the business, ensuring the organization is adequately prepared to meet such risks
• Assist Manager and Assistant Manager in the preparation of reports and presentation slides for management
• Assist in other risk management assignments where necessary covering Enterprise Risk Management; Business Continuity Management; Information Security Management; Occupational Safety & Health related

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a degree or related professional qualification
• At least 2 to 3 years of prior working experience
• Proven experience in process improvement, leading and / or facilitating projects with a record of successful implementation
• Experience using process improvement or project management methodologies and application if any e.g. Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)
• An ambitious self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good analytical skills and able to present analysis, reporting in a rationale and well-thought manner
• Good communication skills with strong command of verbal and written English
