Job description
Senior Executive / Manager, Quantity Surveyor

Lead preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for ID Fit‑Out and architectural scopes.

Oversee contract administration including drafting, negotiating, and managing contractual terms with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Conduct site measurements and verify progress claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.

Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations, aligning with project specifications, budgets, and company standards.

Monitor and control project costs, track variations, and provide strategic financial reports to management.

Manage final accounts and settlement processes, ensuring timely closure of projects.

Provide value engineering insights to optimize design, cost efficiency, and resource allocation.

Support project scheduling and resource planning in coordination with the Project Management Office.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal audit requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and records.

Mentor junior QS team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in ID Fit‑Out, Architecture, and Builder works, with proven track record in contract administration and cost control.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, legal frameworks, and contract law.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with advanced construction technology platforms (Aconex, Procore, BIM integration) is an added advantage.
