A company in the legal sector located in Shah Alam is seeking a legal professional to draft and review agreements, manage compliance, and conduct training sessions. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in legal or corporate compliance, a strong understanding of Malaysian laws, and excellent communication skills. This role involves advising management on legal issues and ensuring all practices comply with relevant regulations.
Draft, review, and amend commercial agreements, legal documents, and other correspondence to ensure legal soundness and compliance with laws and company policies.
Conduct legal research to stay updated on new laws and regulations and advise management on potential legal issues and risks.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and protect the company's legal interests.
Manage and coordinate legal matters, including handling disputes, litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
Act as a liaison with the Group Legal Department, external legal counsels and other departments to ensure legal compliance and manage risk.
Serve as the custodian of all legal documents and ensure proper filing.
Conduct training sessions for management and staff on legal compliance and best practices, particularly in areas like employment law.
