Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Executive, Legal & Company Secretarial to provide legal advisory support and manage key company secretarial functions. The role involves reviewing and drafting contracts, supporting litigation matters, managing corporate documentation, and safeguarding the company's legal and governance interests. The position supports the Legal Management team in ensuring regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and strong legal operational standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advisory support on contracts, commercial matters, and regulatory compliance, including research and risk assessment.
  • Review, draft, and manage legal documents and agreements such as tenancy, procurement, settlement, sub-lease, novation, and customer contracts.
  • Prepare, review, and manage board papers, committee papers, minutes, resolutions, and company secretarial documentation in line with governance requirements.
  • Support litigation matters by coordinating with external solicitors and internal stakeholders, monitoring case progress, and assisting in claim management.
  • Manage property-related legal matters and ensure alignment with business interests and company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental KPIs, governance standards, contract quality, and information security policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB (Hons)) with admission to the Bar.
  • 3 to 7 years experience as a Legal Practitioner and/or In-house Counsel.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report‑writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to work independently, detail-oriented, resourceful, and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
