General Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION : The role of a Senior Executive of Investment Unit independently evaluates investment proposals, prepares Investment Committee papers and supports the investment team in providing analytical depth on investment evaluation, review and independently.

Job Description
  • Investment Evaluation
    • Evaluate investment proposals and conduct feasibility assessments related to hospital expansions, land acquisitions, divestments, strategic initiatives and corporate exercises.
    • Independently review financial models, assumptions, risk-return profiles, and strategic alignment.
  • Investment Committee (IC) Secretariat
    • Evaluate investment proposal submissions for recommendation by the Investment Committee and approval by the Board of KPJHB.
    • Coordinate Pre-IC review sessions with PMD and relevant stakeholders, consolidating comments and ensuring issues are addressed prior to IC submission.
    • Liaise with the Company Secretary on IC and Board administrative matters, including agenda finalisation, submission timelines, presenter sequencing, and review of meeting minutes relating to investment matters.
    • Support preparation of IC decision summaries / inputs for the IC Chairman’s Report to the Board.
    • Monitor, identify and flag any emerging risks or deviations on the performance of approved investments against approved scope, budget, and timelines.
    • Prepare periodic project progress and portfolio monitoring reports for management recommendation to Investment Committee.
  • Coordination & Administration
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain data and clarifications.
    • Support corporate exercise processes, including coordination with advisors and data preparation.
Job Requirements

    2 – 5 years of relevant experience in investment, corporate finance, advisory, or consulting roles. Strong analytical capability, commercial judgment and business acumen. Strong learning agility and adaptability, with willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently. Strong stakeholder coordination capability.
