Job description

Overview

Safeguarding the legal interest of the Bank; Providing legal advice and legal support on the Bank’s activities and operations; and Assisting the Head, Group Legal to provide legal services to support the Bank’s business objectives.

Tasks & Responsibilities>

• As and when required, to facilitate and provide accurate and timely legal advice to the stakeholders.
• To vet, draft and/or provide legal advice/opinion on agreements and legal documents.
• To keep abreast of the latest development of Acts and legal issues affecting the Bank.
• To facilitate and monitor the litigation matters instituted against the Bank (excluding recovery proceedings against customers).
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time or as and when necessary for the effective realization of the job purpose.
