Plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making within our organization. Responsible for collaborating with various departments, providing valuable financial insights, and contributing to the achievement of our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Monitor and analyze budget and actual financial and cash flow performance complemented by rolling forecast models, to proactively identify variances and potential risks.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, offering financial recommendations to support growth initiatives and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the business development department for tender proposal requirements compilation and proposal feasibility assessment.
- Facilitate the annual budget planning process in collaboration with department heads to drive efficiencies and optimize resource allocation.
- Compile and analyze the prepared financial statements for the purpose of financial planning.
- Prepare project and train financial performance reports and other ad-hoc financial reports and presentations as required by management.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and prepare required schedules, supporting documents, and explanations.
- Ensure company’s compliance with various tax requirements.
- Perform other special projects when assigned.
- To carry out any other duties/tasks assigned whenever necessary.
Requirements / KPI
- 2-5 years of experience in full set accounting or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools, including the ability to design, organize, and manage structured spreadsheet workflows and work files for efficient analysis, auditability, and ease of review.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership approach to work conduct and etiquette.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
