Responsibilities

• Ensure the reinsurance program is updated accurately and optimized.

• Prepare reinsurance reports to internal and external parties.
• Assist in reinsurance-related queries and information.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reinsurance program (FoxPro, Ms Access) is updated accurately with the latest products / arrangements and optimized to improve the efficiency.
• Initiate improvement of reinsurance administrative process, not limited to design and automation of the reinsurance process.
• Design and enforce controls/SOP for reinsurance system setup, changes and enhancements.
• Participate in reinsurance treaty arrangements and negotiate with reinsurers.
• Prepare reinsurance reporting to internal and external parties, compile and provide regular statement of accounts, ensure reinsurance balances are settled in a timely manner and facilitate regular reporting requirements.
• Assist in reinsurance related queries and information to both external and internal parties.
• Prepare, review and/or update SOPPs to ensure current practice is well documented.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager or Head of Department.
