Job summary

A leading retail organization in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive/Executive in Marketing Communications to support event planning, design, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a strong sense of creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities include managing promotional spaces, creating advertising materials, and enhancing shopper traffic through various events. A diploma or higher in a related field is required, along with flexibility to work additional hours when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lease out mall promotional spaces, ad panels, and kiosks for revenue.
  • Provide design support for events and activities.

  • Coordinate content uploads to the mall's website and social media.
  • Handle visual presentations and setups per approved concepts.
  • Assist in dismantling visual displays post-events.
  • Provide photography and video for all events.
  • Plan and execute marketing events to enhance shopper traffic.

Senior Executive/Executive, Marketing Communications

To lease out the mall promotional or exhibition spaces, ad panels and push carts or kiosks for revenues.

To provide conceptualization and design support for all mall wide events / promo / activities A&P collateral.

To create and produce artwork for press advertisements, shopping guides, brochures, signages, banners, posters, malldirectories, flyers, etc.

To coordinate in uploading the approved contents, photos and relevant information to the mall's Website, Facebook and Social Media Applications. Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.

To handle visual presentation and set-up as per approved concept, design or theme.

To assist in dismantling and removing of the visual displays, stage at the end of allotted time or events.

To provide photography and video for all mall wide events / promo / activities.

To plan, execute and coordinate a variety of marketing, promotion and thematic events to enhance the shopper traffic in the specific month(s) as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Advertising / Media / Art Design / Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Willing to put in extra hours and/or work on weekends when required.
