Job summary

A finance and investment agency in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Executive/Executive in Corporate Finance & Investor Relations. The role involves supporting corporate exercises, assisting in financial planning and analysis, and liaising with stakeholders. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics and 4-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, preferably in the plantation industry. Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or related; professional qualifications like ACCA/CFA are a bonus.
• 4-5 years' experience in Corporate Finance, preferably in plantation industry.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, accountancy, valuation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the execution of corporate exercises, including due diligence, M&A etc.
• Good knowledge in budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, financial analysis, reporting to stakeholders etc.
• Support on the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Analyzing and interpreting financial data to support business decisions.
• Liaise with bankers, stakeholders etc for deal structuring and transaction management.
• Preparation of Annual Integrated Reports.
• Managing ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics or related. Candidate who possess a professional qualification such as ACCA/CFA is a bonus.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance role. Experience in plantation company/industry is an added advantage.
• Possess skills in financial modelling, accountancy, valuation and analysis.
• Good written and communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Well versed in MS Office.
