About the role

Mewah Group is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Executive / Executive to join our Accounts team in our Pulau Indah, Selangor office. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial management and cost accounting functions of our organisation.

What you'll be doing
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including cost accounting, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable
  • Analyse cost data and provide detailed reports to management on cost trends, variances, and recommendations for cost optimisation
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analysis as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures
  • Continuously improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Excel, SAP)
