Senior Executive Engineer, Technical Services (Systems)

Report To

Manager, Cabin & Systems

Role Purpose

• To provide aircraft engineering development and service engineering support in the aircraft systems and interiors engineering field under ATA 21, 27, 28, 29, 30, 35, 36, 38 and 47 for MAB fleet of aircraft.
• To undertake studies and provide resolutions to technical problems and issues for purposes of improving the aircraft technical dispatch reliability.
• To provide engineering support to operations and production areas pertaining to all MAB fleet of aircraft under the above assigned ATA chapters.
• Any tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Key Accountability

• To maintain an effective and economical administrative system in the section and to supervise subordinates in the section in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
• To ensure that the subordinates are in possession of the correct skills, are appropriately trained and are up to date on the latest methods, procedures and requirements.
• To initiate, evaluate, develop and recommend modification, equipment changes and changes to maintenance/operation policy.
• To provide 24/7 technical support to operations and production areas.
• Liaise on technical matters with the OEM, airlines, airworthiness authority, MRO and other departments in regard to your assigned responsibility.
• Responsible to undertake the necessary corrective and preventive action resulting from the quality compliance monitoring and audit program.
