A leading technology company located in Malaysia, Johor, Kulai, is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies. The role involves managing environmental and safety standards in compliance with regulations and overseeing ISO systems. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Science and have a minimum of 2 years of EHS implementation experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for conducting training and collaborating with stakeholders.
Remuneration Package: Basic salary + AWS
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies covering fire protection, environmental, chemical safety, and security in compliance with local regulations, codes, and global corporate standards.
Implement and manage ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) systems, including audits, documentation, and employee training.
Plan and execute environmental and chemical safety programs, conduct internal safety audits, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Continuously monitor and improve general safety practices, PPE compliance, and workplace safety performance.
Oversee security operations, prepare work plans, monitor performance, and manage security‑related risks.
Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans for safety and security incidents.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in EHS implementation and management.
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct training and collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in managing and tracking safety data using computer systems.
