Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Executive, Commercial Operations to support projects, tenders, and commercial operations across the Malaysia Region. The role supports multiple projects and opportunities within the Malaysia regional portfolio and works closely with regional stakeholders.

This is a senior‑level internal support role focusing on project coordination, CRM management, business analysis, and compliance support. The role does not carry sales targets or people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, clean, and analyze opportunity data using the CRM system and prepare visualized reports to support business decisions.
  • Maintain opportunity and customer data across the Malaysia Region and perform multi‑dimensional analysis by product, customer, and business region.
  • Support the full commercial lifecycle of projects within the Malaysia regional portfolio, from leads, POC, RFQ/RFP, tender submission, contract signing to project implementation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Technical, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth execution of regional projects.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, commercial terms, tender documents, and contract drafts.
  • Track commercial milestones and ensure key deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Review and manage new customer creation requests, data updates, and overall CRM data quality.
  • Support quotation, tender, and contract workflows within the CRM system.
  • Provide CRM system operation training to sales and relevant teams and continuously improve system usage efficiency.
  • Liaise with local and regional partners, subcontractors, agents, and relevant organizations for commercial coordination.
  • Support commercial compliance matters, including contract workflows, stamp duty, and payment terms.
  • Assist with localization initiatives and operational coordination across the Malaysia Region.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, International Trade, Marketing, Engineering Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial operations, sales support, or project support.
  • Familiarity with the Malaysian business environment; experience supporting multiple projects or regional portfolios is an advantage.
  • English: Fluent in written and spoken communication.
  • Chinese: An advantage for regional or Chinese‑client‑facing projects.
  • Malay: A plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong project tracking and cross‑functional coordination skills.
  • Logical, results‑oriented, and able to work under project pressure.
  • Basic understanding of commercial negotiations and contracts.
  • Proactive, responsible, and demonstrates strong professional integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in ports, logistics, energy, smart equipment, automation, or IT systems.
  • Experience working with government projects, SOEs, or large enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with POC / Pilot project execution.
Other Job Duties
  • The role reports to the Regional General Manager (APAC) and works closely with regional functional teams.
  • Based at our UOA Business Park office, Shah Alam (along the Federal Highway).
  • 5‑day work week.
