KEY ROLES :

  • Provide guidance and support to international students on academic, personal, cultural, and administrative matters throughout their studies.
  • Ensure compliance with visa and immigration regulations by coordinating with relevant government agencies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Organize cultural exchange programmes, social events, and workshops to support international students’ integration into the campus community.
  • Serve as a liaison between the institution and government agencies (e.g., immigration departments, embassies) on matters concerning international students.
  • Provide assistance during emergencies—such as medical, legal, or immigration-related issues—and coordinate appropriate support or interventions.
  • Maintain accurate student records, support data reporting requirements, and ensure all documentation is current for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with faculties, accommodation services, student support units, and other departments to address the needs of international students.
  • Assist in the implementation and review of institutional policies related to international student affairs, ensuring alignment with national and institutional regulations.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar capacity or position.
  • Preferably with experience in managing international student affairs, particularly in areas related to student welfare and support services.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capable of handling student-related matters with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
