Senior Executive, Business Development (Quantity Surveyor)

This role will be responsible to assist Management, involving to identify new business opportunities, building client relationships, preparing proposals (i.e. Pre-Qualification / Vendor Registration / Tender Submission Compilation) and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry including project lifecycles, contracts and market dynamics, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.

Your responsibilities will be:

Research and identify potential clients, markets and projects within the property / construction industry and subsequently develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company’s client base.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Provide regular updates to clients on project progress and address their concerns promptly.

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare Pre-Q, tender, proposals and presentations. Review tender documents and prepare checklist submission, ensure timely submission of proposals and follow up on leads and assist Project team on preliminaries cosy analysis.

Analyse market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to identify opportunities.

Maintain an organized database of leads, clients and project information. Support Senior Management in negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Prepare regular reports on business development activities and present to the Senior Management team as required.

To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

Diploma / Degree in [Any Building discipline] / Business Administration or equivalent.

Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in property / construction industry. Strong network of contacts in the property / construction industry is a plus.
