What you need to do:

• Train and managing QA and QC teams
• Handling quality assurance and quality control matters in the Company
• To establish and review standard operating procedures, work instructions, flow chart and specifications and ensure proper documentation and well maintenance of records
• To play a role in determination on food safety and quality issues and oversee continuous improvement of the Company's quality system
• Prevent, curb and resolve quality problems through inspection and non-conformance procedures
• Review and monitor proper execution and maintenance of Quality Management Systems conforming to GMP, HACCP, HALAL and ISO standards and establish continuous improvement programs
• To take part in internal auditing and assume a key role in our Answering Committee during external audits
• Manage and answer to customer complaints and non-conformance findings
• Assist the management team in taking charge and determinate on all matters pertaining quality assurance and quality control in the Company

What we need from you:

• Possesses Bachelor Degree in Food Science & Technology or related regulatory affairs
• Min 3 years experience in Food (manufacturing) sector
• Required to know Mandarin to communicate/evaluate documents with/from overseas suppliers/clients. English and Malay in professional capacity
• Hands on experience in doing in-process QC (and the ability to teach and train), investigating deviations, internal audits and answering to external audits
